1st National Bank of Scotia promotes Bonnie Douglass, Assistant Vice President


SCOTIA (January 16, 2007) - 1st National Bank of Scotia proudly announces the promotion of Bonnie Douglass to the level of Assistant Vice President.

As Assistant Vice President, Ms. Douglass will assist business customers in all aspects of borrowing, from the preparation of loan applications to servicing ongoing relationships and business development at 1st National. She specializes in Small Business Administration (SBA) loans and serves as primary lender for Church financing.

Ms. Douglass has been part of the 1st National family since December of 2001. She began her career with the bank as a collections clerk in the credit department and also gained significant experience through the banks Management Training Program. In January 2004 she was promoted to Assistant Cashier and later joined the commercial lending staff. Throughout her role as a commercial lender Ms. Douglass has gained significant experience in areas such as financial analysis, loan underwriting, business development, equipment finance, lines of credit, commercial mortgages and business acquisitions. Ms. Douglass is also the backup Compliance Officer for the bank.

Ms. Douglass currently resides in Delanson with her two daughters and is presently a member of the Ladies of the Rotterdam Elks (L.O.R.E).
