SCOTIA, NY (Friday, April 4, 2014) - 1st National Bank of Scotia was recently recognized with the “Endurance Award” at The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County’s 47th Annual Awards dinner held at Saratoga State Park’s Hall of Springs on March 27.

The bank, which celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2013 and has served Saratoga County for more than 40 years, was presented with the award for exhibiting dedication to achieving long-term success as well as demonstrating tenacity and perseverance.

In the fall of 2013, 1st National Bank of Scotia commemorated 90 years of community banking with a major non-perishable food drive titled, “Food for Thoughtfulness.” This collection drive of non-perishable goods was donated to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
