Charles Frees joins 1st National Bank of Scotia as Residential Mortgage Originator
SCOTIA (August 24, 2005) - Charles Frees has joined 1st National Bank of Scotia as Residential Mortgage Originator. In this role, he will work directly with potential mortgage applicants, providing pertinent information to start the application process and maintaining ongoing communication with customers, branch offices and realtors. Frees will also educate and train branch employees and other bank personnel on mortgage related issues and practices.
Frees comes to 1st National with well over a decade of experience as a Mortgage Consultant with Home Funding Finders, Inc. In addition to his experience as a Mortgage Consultant, Frees gained valuable insight as a real estate broker. "I have 14 years experience in the mortgage field. I have also been a real estate broker for Welbourne and Purdy and Coldwell Banker Prime Properties prior to being a mortgage consultant. This has helped me establish a lot of contacts in the community." Frees will use his wealth of experience to assist in 1st National's drive to provide customers with new and more comprehensive banking services. He looks forward to the challenge of originating loans and expanding product lines to strengthen 1st National's residential lending operations.
Frees is a resident of Glenville, NY. Frees is a graduate of Schenectady County Community College with a degree in Business Administration. He also received a degree in Computer and Data Processing from Broom County Community College.
