1st National Bank of Scotia promotes Teresa A. Freeman, Assistant Vice President
SCOTIA – 1st National Bank of Scotia proudly announces the promotion of Teresa A. Freeman to the level of Assistant Vice President and Area Manager.
As Assistant Vice President, Mrs. Freeman will be responsible for developing new deposit and loan business for the eastern area offices of 1st National. She will also be in charge of three offices of the bank, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently.
Mrs. Freeman has been a part of the 1st National team for nineteen years, most recently serving as a Branch Operations Officer in the Guilderland Office. She began her career at the bank as a teller and has worked her way through the Retail Banking department serving as a Head Teller, Customer Service Representative, Assistant Manager and Branch Operations Officer. In her new position, Mrs. Freeman hopes to utilize her experiences in customer relations to further develop deposit relationships for the bank and help each branch exceed their goals.
Mrs. Freeman currently resides in Altamont with her husband. She is also an active member in the Guilderland Chamber, the Guilderland Women in Business Group, the Guilderland Leads Group and serves as Vice President of the Rotterdam Business Association.
